H3 Construction and design teams can handle all installations, on any scale.
The Kimberly Clark Companies, based out of Irving, TX, has continued to make improvements to its sprawling 10,000-employee campus.
In a collaboration with Brightview Landscapes, H3 construction and design teams utilized some of the scenic Irving rolling hills and were able to carve out a brand new amenity trail designed around their campus. Outdoor walks are proven to increase productivity and positivity. The trail’s purpose is to serve the health and welfare of Kimberly Clarke’s valued employees by providing a meandering path among natural and calming green space surrounding the office facility.
First, H3 construction and design supervisors had to work with the general contractor and create a strategy to minimize construction disruptions for the Kimberly Clarke workers. By using smaller equipment, day to day corporate activities were not interrupted and the construction crews accelerated the project completion timeline by working during Kimberly Clarke’s normal operating hours.
H3 Construction’s smaller excavation and earthwork crew were able to bring track loaders and mini excavators to carve out the trails from the landscape and compact the native soil to prepare it for concrete. The entire trail system was built on compacted native soil, and the concrete was brought in using power buggies to avoid creating campus traffic issues.
Using a 3,500-psi concrete, #4 rebar, and slab on grade application, H3 Construction was able to ensure the longevity of the trail system, and produce a product Kimberly Clarke can be proud to show off.
H3’s construction and design teams have yet to meet a challenge we can’t overcome, or a solution we can’t create. Our innovative and resourceful construction experts are ready to tackle any project.
