Complex visions require engineered strategies

H3 Construction came up with creative solutions that began with suspended brick arches that defined Canoo’s interior spaces with elegance and class. An engineering feat, these brick arches are reminiscent of tunnels which may once have been filled with casks of fine bourbon. It’s an effect that elevates the design of the building and creates ambience without being overly designed. In their simplicity, the brick arches make a dramatic statement.

Concrete solutions, even when they’re not

The client also requested a stylized concrete feature wall in the building’s entry, but H3 professionals had other ideas. Our design-build team felt the client’s vision would be better served by a plaster of Paris treatment, which allowed for a fully customized finish that packs plenty of “wow” factor in the company’s entryway.

Creating visual interest in interior spaces

Another feature wall H3 completed during the project wasn’t a wall at all. The bamboo ceiling in the whiskey lounge draws the eye in through the glass doors and up, following bold bamboo lines. The feature wall of the whiskey lounge is a bar wall, a focal point created by live-edge shelves and a massive bar top carved from a single pecan tree.
